Following the recent announcement of a Tecnam P2012 Traveler for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 from Swiss FlightSim Studio AG, the add-on has now been released today. Among other things, the developers promise a detailed replica of the original aircraft as well as wasm-coded FADEC for the Lycoming TEO-540-C1A engines including the EECS pre-flight check automatics. The add-on is available for 33,50 euros (excluding VAT) from Aerosoft and other stores.

The add-on aircraft was also developed in collaboration with Alpen Air, which offers sightseeing flights over Bavaria from Augsburg with this model. The Tecnam P2012 Traveller itself is also a relatively new aircraft.
The aircraft from the Italian aircraft manufacturer only celebrated its market launch in 2019.
In addition, a revised STOL version of the aircraft is currently in the certification phase. This requires less than half the take-off and landing distance.
According to a German-language YouTube video, however, FlightSim Studio AG is not currently planning to implement the Tecnam P2012 STOL.
