At the beginning of March the developers at Torquesim announced a Britten-Norman Bn-2 Islander for X-Plane 11 (We reported). Shortly afterwards, Nimbus Simulation Studios announced the development of exactly this aircraft type for XP11. With the release on April 25th Torquesim won the race for themselves.
Yesterday evening the version of Nimbus was released. It is available for around US $35 here in the X-Plane.org Store. Similar to the competing product, Nimbus Simulation Studios promises a very detailed realization of this very special STOL airliner. According to the product description, it is characterized by a highly detailed model with 4k textures and PBR effects, specially adapted 3d sounds and much more. In addition, the add-on is also VR-capable and already comes with eight paintings. More information and screenshots can be found on the product description linked above.
